Become an Associate Member

The role of Associate Member is an exciting volunteering opportunity for people who want to get involved in our work but do not feel they can take on the commitment of Board membership. Whilst less time consuming than a Board role, Associate Membership still provides plenty of opportunities for volunteers to use their expertise and skills to support our work.

Associate Members may attend conferences, project launches and other functions where they will meet staff and service users. They may also use their professional skills to advise and support staff, informally, or by providing training or consultancy.

Associate Members also have a specific corporate governance role at the annual general meeting, where they are required to vote on Board appointments and assess Board performance.
